The Mariners Clinic is operated by Dr Stan Karon and his staff. The clinic has been serving the shipping community for many years. Dr Karon purchased the clinic from Dr A.J Trudel in 1996. What We Do: We provide the health needs for the Local Marine Industry, the crew of the Freighters in port, and also the Cruise Ships during the cruise season. We do pre-employment physicals for the Cruise Ships, Airlines and Insurance Companies. What Sets Us Apart: With short notice we can organize referral appointments with Dentists, Urologists, Dermatologists, Gynecologists and other Specialists. We can also make appointments for CT Scans, MRI’s, Ultrasounds, and other procedures as required. Service Policy: We do our utmost to accommodate any reasonable request and are available as follows: 7 days a week - May to September 6 days a week - October to April.(Monday – Saturday) For Emergencies: Dr. Karon is available by pager, 24 hours a day. Hospital Affiliations: - St
Paul's Hospital - Mt St Joseph's Hospial - Vancouver General Hospital. We also have access
to two private clinics for minor surgeries not covered under the Medical
